DANCING WITH THE STARS 2018
The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce presents Dancing with the Stars – Dubuque Style dancer, Tyson Leyendecker. Tyson has chosen the Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA Victim Services Shelter as his charity of choice! We are proud to have him and the community’s support and wish him luck at this year’s event.
“The reason I chose the YMCA/YWCA Dubuque County Victim Services Shelter as my charity for the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce Dancing with the Stars is that I feel it is important to support causes of this nature in our community. Many of the victims who use the shelter services are there through no fault of their own. In today’s world it is essential to provide assistance to people who find themselves unable to move forward without help. The Shelter provides advocacy for victims to prevent continued abuse, as well as immediate help in the case of emergencies. No one should be forced to live in an unhealthy or unsafe environment, and victims need to know that there are ways to get help. We as a community need to rally around organizations such as the YMCA/YWCA Dubuque County Victim Services Shelter to ensure that these services are available to everyone in need.”
To support Tyson and the Dubuque Community YMCA/YWCA Victim Services Shelter, please consider donating for his cause. Every $1 raised equals 1 vote at the event.
