COVID-19 has allowed us to offer more virtual workout options for the greater Dubuque community. See below all the resources that are available for you to stay fit from home.
We invite you to stay updated through our Facebook page, Instagram, and here on our website. On Facebook we will continue hosting Facebook Live workouts with our very own Y instructors. Events will indicate when you can participate live and if you miss the live video it will be there on our timeline for you at a time that is more convenient. On both platforms we will continue sharing recipes, written workouts, activities for kids, and more.
Sometime it is nice to just have a check list to go through for a workout as you watch your favorite show or listen to your favorite music. Below are two links, one to written workouts and another for family word workouts. These links will be updated each week as we add more of each type of workout.
This is a resource put together by another Y in the US. YMCA 360 has a variety of workouts ranging from Barr Fit, to Bootcamp, youth sports, and active older adult classes. New classes are added weekly so be sure to continue checking what may be new.
If you are interested in longer workouts that are put together by our vendor Les Mills such as Body Pump, Body Combat, or CX Works, check out the link below. There are over 95 workouts on this resource and many offer Spanish translation.
