Did you know that no one is ever turned away from the Y due to inability to pay? This special promise means that everyone will have an opportunity to participate in the Y regardless of their household or personal income. This remarkable commitment by the Y is made possible by the generous contributions of our members and friends who, like you, believe in the Y’s ability to help strengthen the lives of kids and families in our community.

Assistance is determined on level of income, family size, and circumstances. Proof of financial need is required. Information provided is kept confidential.

  • Income Statement
  • Disability Statement
  • Medicare or HawkI card
  • EBT card

Payment can be made in two ways: Bank draft (need official bank documentation), Joining fees are waived for financial assistance members.

This non-refundable fee is charged to new members and renewing members who have let their membership lapse for a period greater than 30 days.

FULL SERVICE MEN’S LOCKER ROOM Exclusive locker room with lounge, towel service for each visit, and full size locker $17.50

NOTE: All reduced rate membership pricing will be adjusted accordingly.

Monthly bank draft may be deducted from checking, savings or credit card. This option requires payment of joining fee, prorated first month dues at sign-up, current bank draft information, and completion of the Bank Draft Authorization form. A 30-day written notification is required to stop bank draft payments.

Members ages 8+ will be issued a membership card. This card will be used as admission to the Y. You may also download the YMCA Universal phone app which has a digital membership card for you to access. Replacement cards may be issued for $2.00.

Kids Corner is a free service offered to members while parents/guardians use the Y facilities. Children must be active members on the same account as their parents/guardians. We highly recommend calling the front desk (563-556-3371) in advance to make sure Kids Corner is open as staffing can affect the hours.
CARING FOR CHILDREN 6 WEEKS – 6 YEARS OF AGE *Parents/guardians must remain in the Y at all times. There is a two-hour limit on Kids Corner per day.

Nationwide Membership enables you to visit any participating Y in the United States through membership at your “home” YMCA (your home location is the facility that enrolled you as a member and that collects your membership dues).

Monthly membership requires a recurring form of payment (i.e. bank draft or credit card), and it will continue unless the Dubuque YMCA is NOTIFIED IN WRITING by completing a membership cancellation form 15 days prior to next draft. Cancellation forms must be completed in person at the front desk.
